In this game, you get to control the members of the Jet Force Gemini team in their quest to rid the galaxy of Mizar and his evil Drones. You start the game as Juno. As the game progresses, you can take control of his sister Vela, and eventually their dog, Lupus.

This is one of the best platform games I have yet to see for the Nintendo 64. While the weapons targeting system leaves something to be desired, it is quite serviceable. The sci-fi plot is enough to keep the story flowing, without making it overly complicated. Blowing away the ant-like drones is also quite entertaining.

The multi-player aspect of this game is not much of an asset. It seems to me, it would only be entertaining for those who have had a good deal of experience playing this game in solo mode.

The teen rating comes from all the shooting. And there is a lot of shooting, even though you are only shooting at drones. It’s a bloodbath, without the blood.

I would recommend this game for all platform players. Also for sci-fi fans.
