Robotech Battlecry For the Nintendo GameCube Rated T for Teen 1 to 2 players In this game you play the role of a pilot Jack Archer, joining the Robotech Defense Force (RDF) with your two friends Izzy and Hiro. After going through training you are ready to take on the Zentraedi threat all on your own. Soon you are called into action to defend some Sea Sergeants, a variant of the helicopter, from a surprise attack from enemy fighters. As the game progresses, you start to see less of your friends, and more of the enemy. Eventually that one-man campaign against the enemy is exactly what you are doing.
This game has an advanced novelty factor. I put it that way because of the constant need to change between Fighter, Guardian, and Battloid modes can be quite difficult. But once you have the basic concept of ship rearrangement down it should be a cakewalk.
I would recommend this game for anyone who is really into Robotech, or somebody liking flight simulators without gravity involved.
I was a little disappointed with the fact of not being able to have more than two players in multiplayer. I mean, sure you can shoot down your best buddy, but you can't go 1 on 2 or 1 on 3.
